Advertising in Y4

On Tuesday the 15th March,  a parent, Sam Gaudois came in to give a very interesting insight into the world of advertising as part of Y4’s ‘Have I got a deal for you!’ Social Studies topic. The children learnt about of the tricks of the trade, and had many questions to ask!
 In the afternoon a class of FIS Year 8 students travelled to Jardines along with Mr Wilson and Mr McEntire, to spend an hour presenting a product they had made (a chocolate bar) and then they assisted the Year 4’s in developing ideas for advertising their cereal boxes or a toy to promote. Both classes had a great time on Tuesday and would like to thank again Sam and the Year 8’s for coming in and sharing their knowledge and expertise. Richard Phillips
