Over the last couple of weeks the International Section at the JL campus have been working on their GAW projects. Each class chose a country to do a mini study on. Activities ranged from art, storytelling, creating power point presentations and having a festival of food were some of the aspects covered. We also held a Where’s Wally (Mr Chadwick) competition throughout the week. Some classes have given an insight into what they did.
The Reception classes had a wonderful week learning all about the 'Land of fire and ice'...ICELAND! We enjoyed dressing up as volcanoes and icebergs and performing a dance by Icelandic pop princess Bjork to the rest of the International Section. Our parents made some special treats for us to enjoy...volcano cupcakes, iceberg marshmallows...yum. What a fantastic week! Alison L.M Finch RCA Primary Teacher
