On March 17th, boys from the French International School had a rugby tournament against the Kellet 10’s Kowloon bay team. Since the sun was shining bright and the weather was great the Kings Park was a great place to have the tournament. The players all played 6 matches; however team A won all 6 of them but team B won 3. Rugby is a tough but fair sport.
The great coach of the rugby team was Mr. Cameron, he had been training the team for the last 5-6 weeks and the team has also had many more tournaments to get prepared. Of course there are always things the players need to work on, Louis Campion one of the many players in A team said he could improve his rucking and tackling. Many more players such as Monty Davies, Tommy Avery has said they can improve spreading out and getting back in position. Monty Davies enjoyed the tournament so much that on a scale of 1 to 10, he rated it 10!
All of these young rugby players all have a passion to one day be international players all around the world. Monty Davies said “I would like to grow up and become a rugby player in the Wallabies team!” Tommy Avery reported “If I have the chance I would like to play in the All Blacks team.” All of these talented young rugby players could all one day be worldwide famous players and score tries for a living.
