The Nature Conservancy’ is an international organisation which concentrates on protecting the earth and improving water quality. Last year 7 FIS students, in cooperation with 110 students from other international and local schools in Hong Kong, led one of the 13 sustainable development projects chosen. An insight into their work can be seen here. Once again, ‘The Nature Conservancy’ is inviting FIS students (Years 10, 11 and 12) to join their programme of excellence aimed at increasing awareness and developing tomorrow’s future leaders with regards to problems associated with sustainable development. The Nature Works 2016 HK programme has a new and improved format: ·A more concentrated training period with the public presentation of projects in June rather than July. ·A more personalised follow up of group work in order to maximise the feasibility of projects considered by students.
